In today’s tutorial 7/12/18 we talked to our module leader about the progress we have made this week. Here is an overview of the week’s progress:

This week Hamish started editing the clips we already have with Chloe and Ella. I was unable to attend due to an assessment in another module, but from this first editing session, we discovered that I needed to refilm the introduction to the video as the lighting wasn’t right.

On Thursday Ella and I refilmed the introduction of the vlog style video in my room and we then filmed a section of the video on campus with me walking discussing the course. This was used to emphasise the vlog style video as the camera was resting on a surface for the beginning and ending clip. We then started editing it into the beginning of the video straight afterwards so we could see how it would look all together.

We realised we didn’t refilm an end clip so this morning before our tutorial Ella and I refilmed me ending the vlog. We now have all the clips we need and just want them to flow well together in the sequence.

We now plan to meet up at the beginning of next week so Hamish can finish editing the video so it is ready to be uploaded before Friday’s presenting of the video in lecture time.
