On 11/02/19, my group and I met up at the terrace bar at half one, an hour before our tutorial to discuss the research that had been carried out by Adam. We looked over it to make sure it was produced to a high standard. We have decided to research the history of messaging and also choose to explore the difference between catch up TV and live TV and how it has transitioned from us being able to view TV at a certain time of the day.
In the tutorial, we told James our idea of the history of messaging and how it has transitioned. He didn’t believe this was a suitable topic to cover on the infographic as it was too broad. We then told him about our idea of catch up TV vs live TVand discussed another idea of how most apps have a feature where you can go live.
From this point onwards after the tutorial, we discussed how we need Adam to share his research on the concept of catch up TV VS live TV. From this point, we can look at what further research we need to do. James also suggested using a variety of sources e.g Journals or books as we mostly have online resources so far. From here, this week Laila can consider some colour schemes, the layout and types of texts we might want to use when we have a more advanced idea of what we could include on the infographic.
