On 12/03/19, my group and I met in Cyber Italia to discuss the research. We discussed the name we would give our media campaign and the motto associated with it. We named our media campaign ‘Bon Appetit’, suggesting healthy eating which will be enjoyable for students. We came up with ‘Healthy palate, healthy mind, happy student.’ We also came up with key points about what our campaign will do. For instance, we have come up with ‘less food waste, helping students come up with a healthy alternative and student budget meals’ as some of our key messages to the students of the University of Winchester. During the meeting, Hannah shared with us ideas she has created of meals on posters including the ingredients and the costings of the meals. She also shared with us an Instagram page she already has created before the project started related to healthy meals which we will use for our project. From here, Ioana will create visuals such as the posters to promote our project. For this, we have the idea of one side explaining our project and the other side providing a recipe to help students eat healthily and reduce waste.
Here are examples of Hannah’s recipes for our posters:
During the tutorial, James liked our idea for our media campaign. We all discussed how our roles have progressed and where we will go from this week to start sharing our campaign in the middle of next week with the University students to get it recognised before we set up our stand. Now Brett needs to contact the SU to make sure we can carry out our campaign. This should be successful as Brett contacted them straight after the tutorial, we now just need to wait to hear back.
Since the tutorial, Hannah, who has the role of production and dissemination has come up with ideas for our media campaigns logo and has shown us an idea of a Facebook page to promote our campaign.
We plan to meet up later this week to set up recipes to promote beginning in the middle of next week and how we will promote our campaign.
Here is the research I have carried out: (Be aware when you press the link it downloads to your device)
